Resources following World Immunisation Week 2022

The aim of World Immunisation week (24/04/2022 - 30/04/2022) was to continue raising awareness of the value that vaccines have brought to our health and society and the importance of getting vaccinated against preventable diseases.

The WHO’s campaign resource page is https://ukhsa.exposure.co/childhood-vaccination, with a focus on #LongLifeFor All.

As population coverage has dropped across all programmes in the UK following the COVID-19 pandemic, the focus following world immunisation week is on routine childhood immunisations. Please see the below content that can be used at any time with the aim of reassuring and reminding parents about how important and safe routine immunisations are.

See below for links to easy-to-understand information on the childhood vaccine schedule to help parents understand what vaccines are available to their child and when.
